
This must be the Northeast view from the Washington Monument. The "horizontal" road near the bottom is Constitution Ave (crossing 14th Street near the center), and the empty lot now contains a building shockingly named "The Ronald Reagan Building", part of the current day Department of Commerce.
I suspect that Ronald has more stuff named after him than President Washington ever did. It's no wonder... Ronald was the one who truly discovered "bottomless debt", a fuel which still powers all of Washington DC today.
